SURFACE SHAPE OF GRAVESTONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface shape of a gravestone having a curved surface on the substantially whole upper surface of the gravestone, and providing a roundish wholly soft image for a corner part by sufficiently draining water of a roundness vicinal part X of the curved surface formed on a stone material upper surface constituting the gravestone. SOLUTION: The upper surface of at least a stone material has surface smoothness, and the corner part between the upper surface and a wall surface of the stone material is formed in a round shape of a range of 5 to 50 mm in a radius of curvature over the whole periphery. The upper surface is formed so as to become the curved surface of continuously lowering toward the outside end forming the round shape over the whole periphery. An angle of a tangent to a round upper part from the uppermost end of the curved surface and a horizontal line of the uppermost end of the curved surface is set in a range of 1 to 20 degrees.
