Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that rust generates on a disc rotor when a vehicle is left to stand for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The vehicle 10 is braked by co-using a regenerative brake for regenerate electric power from a traveling motor 12 to generate a regenerative brake; and a disc brake 36 for slide-contacting a pad with the disc rotor 44 rotated with a front wheel 16 to generate braking force. A hydraulic sensor 52 detects a pressure of an operation liquid fed to a wheel cylinder 38 of the disc brake. An oil pressure variation recording means in a brake ECU 50 records the pressure variation of the operation liquid during when a wheel is one-rotated to determine width of pressure variation at operation of a friction brake. When the width of pressure variation is a predetermined threshold value or higher, it is determined that rust is generated on a friction surface of the disc rotor 44 and operation of the regenerative brake is temporarily stopped.
