MAGNETIC DISK APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk apparatus adopting a structure in which a base and a top cover are fixed while deformation by bimetal effect is prevented. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a magnetic disk 4, head driving mechanisms 5, 6 mounting a head accessing the magnetic disk, a base 2 housing the magnetic disk and the head driving mechanism and provided with a flat part 2d in which a screw hole 2e is formed around an opening edge 2c, and a slide means 20 which is formed by a material having a thermal expansion coefficient different from that of the base, in which a relief hole 3a for screw being positioned to the screw hole of the flat part is provided, and which has a top cover 3 attached to the base by a screw 10 piercing the screw hole and the relief hole for screw, and which reduces slide friction resistance at a contact part between the flat part and the top cover, and a contact part between a head part of the screw and the top cover.
