Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of defective connection when a head slider and a suspension are connected electrically. SOLUTION: An HGA200 is provided with a head slider 105 having a head element part 122 reading and/or writing data from/to a magnetic disk, and a suspension 110 to which the head slider 105 is attached. The suspension 110 has a lead 201, a flexure 202, and a load beam 203. A bonding pad 123 of the head slider 105 is formed on the head slider side 105c excluding an air bearing plane (ABS) 105a opposing to the magnetic disk and the back 105b opposite to the ABS 105a, also, it is formed so that an end side of the bonding pad 123 comes into contact with the end side of the slider side 105c in into contact with the slider back 105b.
