PRINTING SYSTEM, CENTER SERVER, PRINT SERVER, AND METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR UPDATING PRINTER CALIBRATION DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize color space correction capable of outputting an original image without changing the hue of the original image even when a color space is corrected and to easily perform frequent updating of calibration data with the lapse of time by updating the calibration data through a network. SOLUTION: In using a print system connecting printers 103A, 103B to a center server machine 108 through the Internet 107, a colormetric instrument 110 connected to the center server machine 108 measures a color chart printed out by each of the printers 103A, 103B (step S302), the center server machine 108 acquires a difference between the value of the measured color chart and the value of a reference color chart and prepares a correction value file based on the acquired difference (step S303), and then the center server machine 108 registers the prepared correction value file so as to download the file through the Internet (step S304).
