DEVELOPER TRANSPORTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer transport device and an image forming apparatus, capable of securely preventing toner aggregation generated in the developer transport device for transporting a developer from a developer-holding part to a developing device by using a powder pump, without disposing the toner. SOLUTION: A pair of pulverizing rollers 16, for regulating/pulverizing the toner aggregated on the rear stage of the powder pump 10, are disposed opposite each other in the developer transporting device 1. Helical groove parts, having a prescribed depth, are formed on the pulverizing rollers 16. The aggregated toner is pulverized, by being pinched between the groove part of one pulverizing roller 16 and a non-groove part of the other pulverizing roller 16 (Fig. 5B).
