Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charge generating composite particles which maintain high photosensitivity, exhibit good electrophotographic properties, excels in dispersibility in a binder resin, and do not cause image defects such as fog, an electrophotographic photoreceptor using the charge generating composite particles, and also to provide a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus using the electrophotographic photoreceptor and free of fogging. SOLUTION: The charge generating composite particles are obtained by attaching at least one selected from the group consisting of an organic electron acceptor and an electron transport pigment and a charge generating material to the surface of a particulate core as a nucleus. There are also provided the electrophotographic photoreceptor using the charge generating composite particles, and the process cartridge and the image forming apparatus using the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
