PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bag capable of simply processing and storing stably even an article with a large bottom part in a horizontal posture. SOLUTION: In the plastic bag 1 in which one end edge is sealed by heat welding to form a seal 2 and the other end is opened to form an opening 3, and both sides in the width direction are folded inward in a V-like shape to form folds 5 and 5', at least parts of two thin films from the outside among four sheets of the thin films overlapped quarterly at the folds 5 and 5' are joined to form joints 6 and 6'. When the bag bottom extended when the article with the large bottom part is placed in the plastic bag 1 is regarded as a plane with an approximate square, a stronger force is applied to the bag corner on the side where the joints 6 and 6' are formed than that applied to the bag corner on the side where the joints 6 and 6' are not formed, and even when the article placed in the plastic bag 1 tends to be inclined, it is pushed back by the stronger force and is returned to an original horizontal posture.
