Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering intermediate shaft coupling which is superior in rust preventive property. SOLUTION: The steering intermediate shaft coupling 30 of a steering device for an automobile comprises universal joints 25, 26 and shafts 1, 2. An inner shaft 1 is fitted in an outer shaft 2 to be serration-fitted therein, and the inner shaft 1 is further fitted in the outer shaft 2 by predetermined load when receiving impact and absorbs the impact. A galvanized layer is formed at an exposed part 13 which is exposed outside the outer shaft 2 of a surface of the inner shaft 1, and a rust preventive film comprising a resin composition containing a conductive organic polymer is coated on the galvanized layer.
