APPARATUS FOR TREATING VOC AND CARTRIDGE FOR APPARATUS FOR TREATING VOC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating VOC having high performance for collecting VOC in an exhaust gas and a high efficiency of decomposing the VOC with a microwave, and a cartridge for the apparatus for treating VOC. SOLUTION: The apparatus for treating VOC by collecting VOC contained in an exhaust gas and by decomposing the VOC by irradiating a high-frequency wave is equipped with a gas-introducing section for introducing either an exhaust gas or a nonoxidizable gas, an adsorbing section for adsorbing the VOC contained in the exhaust gas introduced from the gas-introducing section that is linked to the gas-introducing section and formed by housing a laminate formed by alternately stacking a feltlike fiber layer having electric conductivity and an adsorbent layer that contains an adsorbent for adsorbing VOC and has gas permeability, in a container through which a high-frequency wave can penetrate, a high-frequency-irradiating section for generating the high-frequency wave, transferring the generated high-frequency wave to the adsorbing section and irradiating the high-frequency wave to the adsorbing section and a gas-discharging section connected with the adsorbing section for discharging a treated gas in the adsorbing section.
