OCT PROBE, AND OCT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OCT probe which can always obtain a reflection of a high intensity regardless of observation conditions. SOLUTION: This OCT probe is equipped with: an optical fiber which transmits a low coherent light; an objective optical system which images the light emitted from the optical fiber on an observation object; a sheath which covers the optical fiber and the objective optical system, and two light transmitting medium enclosing means; a first light transmitting medium enclosing means; and a second light transmitting medium enclosing means. In this case, the first light transmitting medium enclosing means is attached to the skin of the sheath, keeps a medium for transmitting light is enclosed, and can partially be closely joined in a lumen, and is arranged in an imaging light path. The second light transmitting medium enclosing means is arranged at a position facing the first light transmitting medium enclosing means across the objective optical system, and has a larger size than the first light transmitting medium enclosing means.
