PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent illegal dispensing of a large amount of tokens from a token dispenser in a short period of time without playing a game regarding the token dispenser and a slot machine provided with the same. SOLUTION: The token dispenser 300 is for dispensing the tokens to be used for the slot machine 100. The token dispenser 300 is provided with: a game time counting means 370 for starting counting of a game time in the case of dispensing a prescribed number of tokens in response to a request for dispensing of the tokens from a player; and a token dispensing prohibition means 380 for prohibiting dispensing operation until the game time counted by the game time counting means 370 reaches a consumption time required for consuming the prescribed number of tokens by the slot machine 100.
