STRAIN CLAMP REINFORCEMENT DEVICE AND STRAIN CLAMP EQUIPPED WITH REINFORCEMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp reinforcement device which can protect and reinforce a strain clamp in order to prevent sagging of an electric wire or falling of the fragments of the strain clamp due to fracture. SOLUTION: A strain clamp reinforcement device of a hollow annular body covering a strain clamp, and a strain clamp covered with the strain clamp reinforcement device. The hollow annular body is formed of an annular body piece which can be split into two in the long axis direction of the strain clamp, and can be equipped with an engaging piece extending in the same direction and being hooked or secured to the strain clamp. The engaging piece may be provided with a stretch member at the middle thereof. A wedge type strain clamp is preferably employed and the hollow annular body is preferably attached to the strain clamp. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
