Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment and its control method for preventing any erroneous operation by invalidating the operation signal of any switch other than a target switch when any switch other than a target switch is unintentionally operated accompanying the operation of an operating member. SOLUTION: When an operation detection part 152 detects the operations of second switches 134A to 134D, a control part 154 controls a signal processing part 153 to invalidate the operation signal of a first switch 133, and even when the first switch 133 is unintentionally operated during the operation of the second switches 134A to 134D according to the inclining operation of an operation member 131, the operation signal is invalidated.
