Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing at least a portion of wear resistant spray coating for gas turbine engine parts in a short period of time with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A grinding device 20 equipped with a CBN wheel 22 includes: a spindle 24 to which the CBN wheel 22 is attached; and a rotary table 26 attached to the CBN wheel 22 along its vertical surface. Both the spindle 24 and the rotary table 26 are provided such that they rotate around a fixed axis. The spindle 24 and CBN wheel 22 rotate at a high speed to remove a portion or all of wear resistant spray coating from a rotary member 10, while keeping contact with a worn surface 16' of the rotary member 10.
