SEALING STRUCTURE BETWEEN SEGMENTS AND SEALING METHOD FOR SEGMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure between segments and a sealing method for the segments capable of preventing the damage of a sealing member when a widening segment is widened and, ensuring cut-off efficiency even in the case that a seam opening is generated between the segments in the future. SOLUTION: In the sealing structure between segments making cut-off between rings of a ring-like widening segment 4 widened and contracted in the direction of the radius of a tunnel and a ring-like joint segment 3' connected to the widening segment 4, there is provided: a sealing member 13 that is interposed between inter-ring end faces 4a of the widening segments 4 that oppose each other and inter-ring end faces 3a of the joint segment 3', and extends along the circumferential direction of the joint segment 3'; and a pressure regulation means 14 that presses the sealing member 13 against the inter-ring end faces 4a of the widening segment 4, and regulates the pressure of the sealing member 13 pressed against the inter-ring end faces 4a of the widening segment 4.
