BLASTING DEVICE AND BLASTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blasting device and a blasting method for achieving automatic blasting work on a face to be machined and having prescribed roughness. SOLUTION: A device main body 72 loaded with a nozzle 38, a suction port 60, a pressure sensor 80, a roughness gage 84, etc. on it is magnetically fixed on a coated face 30. Next, a front wheel 74 and/or a rear wheel 76 are driven by a motor 88 to let the device main body 72 run upward and automatically. A blast medium 26 is jetted onto the coated face 30 from the nozzle 38, roughness of recessed and projecting faces of the coated face 30 machined by jetting the blast medium is measured by the roughness gage 84 while sucking and recovering the used blast medium 26 by the suction port 60. A CPU controls a sponge blast supply device, a compressor, and a recovery device so that the measured roughness is within a scope of predetermined roughness corresponding to the coating to feedback-control amount of injection of blast medium, injection pressure, injection speed, quantity of injection air, quantity of sucked air, and speed of the device main body 72.
