Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve the generation amount of gamma-aminobutyric acid during the rice cooking control of unpolished rice. SOLUTION: In the electric rice cooker wherein an inner pot, an inner pot heating means and a rice cooking heating control means by a microcomputer are provided and the rice cooking heating control means has an unpolished rice mode suitable for cooking the unpolished rice other than a white rice mode, the unpolished rice mode is provided with a normal unpolished rice mode and a gamma-aminobutyric acid increasing mode for increasing the generation amount of gamma-aminobutyric acid. In the gamma-aminobutyric acid increasing mode, compared to the normal unpolished rice mode, heating time for water absorption is long and heating time for temperature elevation in a temperature elevating process is also long.
