CHANNEL BRUSH TYPE BRUSH ROLL AND CHANNEL BRUSH FOR BRUSH ROLL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel brush type brush roll 5 having little possibility of damaging the surface of a body to be cleaned. SOLUTION: This channel brush type brush roll 5 is formed by attaching a long channel brush 1 around the outer circumference of a cylindrical rotating body 6 at a prescribed intervals, the channel brush 1 is provided with a long core wire, a long channel having its cross section bending into an approximate U-shape and wrapping the core wire, and bristle materials held between the core wire and the channel, and the outer circumferential face of the channel brush type brush roll 5 has a belt-shaped circumferential area having bristle material tips with a density of not less than 25/cm2and not more than 250/cm2across the whole circumference.
