Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method for automated guided vehicle, which can efficiently process sequentially generated carrying requests while minimizing the wasteful motion of a preceding automated guided vehicle (removal of an empty truck). SOLUTION: In the operation control method for automated guided vehicle in deployment of a plurality of automated guided vehicles capable of traveling along a circulating track laid on a floor or a ceiling, each of the plurality of automated guided vehicles comprises a reflection sensor and a reflector. When a following automated guided vehicle gets close to the preceding automated guided vehicle, the reflection sensor of the preceding automated guided vehicle reacts it, and it is only then when removal control of the preceding automated guided vehicle is performed so that the preceding automated guided vehicle disturbs traveling of the following automated guided vehicle.
