Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately charge a fee from value information recorded in a non-contact medium such as an IC card in a service providing device such as a copy machine. SOLUTION: A charge for providing service is calculated, and a sum charged in a non-contact medium is compared with a charge when a service is provided. When the sum charged in the non-contact medium is larger, a service is started so that charging, the operation of a job and the timing of charging can be specified. When the execution of the service ends, the fee is collected from the non-contact medium. Alternatively, the execution of the service is temporarily stopped, and the fee is collected from the non-contact medium, and when the charge collection ends, the subsequent service is restarted.
