Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a large screen with which the occurrence of a display defect due to charging deficiency can be suppressed without giving rise to the degradation in image quality due to unnecessary radiation. SOLUTION: The display device includes a first source driver 300 on one side of a display element 600 and a second source driver 400 on the other side. A digital video signal DA is transmitted from a display control circuit 200 only to the first source driver 300 of the above source drivers. During the transfer period of each horizontal scanning period, the digital video signal DA for generating a video signal for driving ought to be applied to respective source bus lines SL1 to SLn during the driving period of the horizontal scanning periods is transmitted as a transfer data signal ID to the second source driver 400 from the first source driver 300 by using the source bus lines SL1 to SLn.
