POWER SOURCE CONTROLLER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce voltage variation of a power line by shifting power-on timing and turning on a power source in zero-crossing timing, and to shorten the time needed to power on a system. SOLUTION: In a constitution wherein the system has a main power source and an auxiliary power source (for a control part), the main power source is turned on in zero-crossing timing and in a constitution wherein an option has another power source, the option is powered on in zero-crossing timing. The main power source and the power source of the option are turned on successively in different timing of zero-crossing synchronism to reduce rush currents of a device and the system.
