Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microporous film excellent in long term dimensional stability, having dimensional stability capable of satisfactorily responding to life for application in a large sized screen liquid crystal television sets. SOLUTION: The microporous film has 0.9-1.4 g/m3of an apparent specific gravity, 0.1-2% of heat shrinkage rate in machine direction at 150°C and 0.5-9% at 190°C, and 200-800 particles/1000 μm2of inorganic filler particles with 0.15-1.45 μm of converted particle diameters observed in the central part of a film cross section in the thickness direction of the film.
