Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition that can exactly actualize desired rubber physical materials by eliminating the influence on the physical property of rubber caused by kneading, even when the kneading conditions are changed. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises rubber components and vapor phase grown carbon fiber. After kneading, the length of the vapor phase grown carbon fiber is in the range of from 0.5 to 1,000 μm and the diameter is in the range of from 0.01 to 50 μm. The aspect ratio of the average length and the average diameter of the vapor phase grown carbon fiber is suitably in the range of from 0.01 to 10,000 based on the average length and the average diameter after the kneading.
