Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic product effective for further improving the UV-protecting action of titanium dioxide. SOLUTION: (1) A clay mineral modified with an organic material and (2) fibrous titanium dioxide are included in a cosmetic product. The clay mineral modified with an organic material is preferably hectorite modified with dimethyl distearyl ammonium chloride and the fibrous titanium dioxide preferably has a hollow tubular form.
