Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heater performance by raising temperature of engine water temperature at an early stage in car cruising in a cruise mode. SOLUTION: In vehicle cruising by a cruise mode and when at least any one in intake air temperature TA for control, outside air temperature estimate TAFCMG, and engine water temperature TW is not reached to the prescribed temperature set up respectively, the amount of cruise power generation is pulled up to a given value CR1 and charge to a battery is maintained until both battery temperature TBAT and the engine water temperature TW reach predetermined temperature respectively. When it is determined that there is no room for a battery to receive further charge, the engine temperature is raised and the engine water temperature TW is increased by delaying the ignition timing of an engine to lower the combustion efficiency.
