HEART STABILIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart stabilizer capable of infallibly being inserted into a trocar, which can be used in a thoracotomy or endoscopic treatment. SOLUTION: The heart stabilizer 10 is to be inserted through the trocar with observing a region to be operated with an endoscope. The heart stabilizer 10 comprises an elongated insert part 12, an operation part 16 provided on a proximal end part of the insert part 12 to be gripped by an operator, and a stabilizing member 14 provided on a distal end part of the insert part 12 to partly restrain heartbeat. The stabilizing member 14 comprises a pressurizing fixing member 42 supported by the distal end part of the insert part 12, a pressurizing movable member 44 rotatable toward the pressurizing fixing member 42 for open and close, and a hinge 46 and a compression spring 48 to connect the pressurizing fixing member 42 and the pressurizing movable member 44.
