MOUNTING DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device capable of accurately making various judgements relating to the suction of an electronic component in a short time. SOLUTION: The mounting device of the electronic component sucks and holds the electronic component E with a suction nozzle 10, and includes a transfer head capable of loading the electronic component E on a prescribed position on a substrate. When the suction nozzle 10 is positioned at a prescribed detection height Z1 where it is considered that the electronic component shields only a part of the detection range 14C of a photoelectric sensor, when the electronic component E is normally sucked by the suction nozzle 10; the presence/absence of the suction of the electronic component E, the abnormality of a suction posture or a loading error or the like is judged on the basis of the relation of a reference output in normal suction by the photoelectric sensor corresponding to the received light quantity and an actually detected output value.
