Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein it is difficult to fully charge a portable terminal set in an idle state on a cradle in an order entry system in operation. SOLUTION: An order entry system comprises a portable terminal 16 driven by a storage battery 20 and provided with an infrared communication mechanism 27 and 28, and a charging device 14 for charging the storage battery via terminals 20A on the portable terminal and provided with an infrared communication mechanism 31. The portable terminal resumes operation in a predetermined period of time when shifted to an idle state. At the operation resumption, if the charging device is detected by infrared communication, the power supply is stopped. The portable terminal can thus be charged fully without a user's labor of shutting off the power. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
