PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can highly precisely regulate respective amounts of developers conveyed by two or more developer carrying/conveying members and is easily assembled. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier 1; a developing device having a developing roller 5 for rendering an electrostatic latent image on the image carrier visible; a transfer device for transferring a toner image; a cleaning member for recovering transfer residual toner and re-attaching it to parts of the surface of the image carrier 1, where the formation of an electrostatic latent image is not affected; and re-attached toner recovery rotor 18 disposed in the developing device, used for carrying and conveying developer, recovering toner re-attached to the image carrier 1 and returning it into the developing device. In the image forming apparatus, developer regulating members 19a and 19b for regulating an amount of conveyed developer are disposed opposite to the developing roller 5 and re-attached toner recovery rotor 18.
