Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detection apparatus of a simple constitution which has a small number of components and is easily assembled. SOLUTION: The torque detection apparatus is provided with first and second shafts (not shown) connected by a connecting shaft (not shown in Fig.); nonmagnetic metal plates 1 and 3 each provided for the first and second shafts at a right angle; a coil 12 provided between the nonmagnetic metal plates 1 and 3 for forming a magnetic field around the nonmagnetic metal plates 1 and 3; and a detection circuit 13 for detecting the impedance of the coil 12 by passing an AC current through the coil 12. The coil 12 is constituted in such a way that the locational relation between the connecting shaft and the axial centers of the first and second shafts. The nonmagnetic metal plates 1 and 3 are formed in such a way that the areas of parts opposed to the coil 12 may vary according to the angle of torsion of the connecting shaft. Torque added to the first and second shafts is detected on the basis of the impedance detected by the detection circuit 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
