WINDOW STAY WITH STOPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain reliability over a long period by stably and surely opening-closing and fixing a sash window. SOLUTION: This window stay has a frame 2 installed in a window frame, a short arm 4 having one end part 4a pivoted on one end parts 2a and 2b of the frame 2, a sash window installing arm 5 having one end part 5a pivoted on the other end part 4b of the short arm 4 and installed on a rail of the sash window, a long arm 6 having one end part 6a pivoted on an intermediate part 5b in the longitudinal direction of the sash window installing arm 5 and having the other end part 6b pivoted on the other end parts 2c and 2d of the frame 2 and a slide body 7 slidably supported in the longitudinal direction of the frame 2 and imparting energizing force toward the one end part outer periphery 4c of the short arm 4. The stopper is constituted by engaging an engaging projection part 13 arranged in the slide body 7 with one of engaging recessed parts 11 and 12 arranged in two places of the outer periphery 4c, and the sash window can be fixed in a small opening state and a full opening state of the sash window.
