MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF SAW CHAIN IN POLISHER FOR CHAIN SAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably keep the attitude of a chain saw against polishing pressure to achieve accurate and sure polishing in polishing saw chain with a grinder. SOLUTION: In the polisher for a chain saw, a saw chain including a cutter, a tie strap and a drive link is detached from the chain saw body, horizontally fitted on a saw chain mount provided opposite to the grinder having a grinding wheel, the saw chain is fed by a predetermined pitch by a feed claw, and the saw chain mount is made to approach the grinder to polish the cutter with the grinding wheel. In this mounting structure of the saw chain, the saw chain mount is provided with a guide body 14, the front of which is provided with a groove for receiving the drive lin and guiding the same, and a lower saw chain mount of the guide body is provided with a vertically turning lifting lever 32. When the saw chain mount approaches the grinder, the lifting lever rises to push up the guide body from below, and braking force is applied to the drive link to stabilize the polishing attitude of the cutter.
