TREATMENT INSTRUMENT FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful treatment instrument for an endoscope by which the endoscope is wiped automatically while treating a tissue. SOLUTION: The treatment instrument for an endoscope 30 comprises a treatment section 62 inserted into a sheath 38 and arranged on the distal end of the sheath 38 for carrying out a treatment, a movable treatment member 58 for moving the treatment section 62 so as to place the treatment section on a treatment position where a treatment is carried out and/or a waiting position where a treatment is not carried out, an operation section 60 for moving the treatment member 58 so as to place the treatment section 62, a wipe section 66 inserted into the sheath 38 and arranged on the distal end of the sheath 38, and a movable wiping member 64 for moving the wipe section 66 so as to wipe the distal end of the endoscope 36. The treatment instrument for an endoscope 30 further comprises converting means 68, 70, 72 and 74 which convert the movement of the treatment member 58 into the movement of the wiping member 64 so as to link the placing of the treatment section 62 and wiping operation of the wipe section 66.
