POSITIONING JIG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning jig reduced in cost in manufacturing and maintenance, the workability of which is enhanced. SOLUTION: The positioning jig comprises two members of a tabular carrier 11 which serves as a base to receives a work and a tabular positioning plate 12 which slides on the flat portion of the carrier 11. On the flat portion of the carrier 11, a plurality of rectangle concave portions 13 to accommodate the work (ceramic package of IC) is formed, the depth of which is slightly shallower than the thickness of the work. The work is accommodated in the concave portion 13 of the carrier 11 through an opening 17 of the positioning plate 12, and then, by sliding the positioning plate 12 along the longitudinal direction of a guide hole 18 (long hole), mutually adjoining outer side faces (outer walls) of the work 2 are made to contact to the mutually adjoining inner side face (inner wall) of the concave portion 13, respectively, thereby accomplishing positioning in the direction of a flat surface (longitudinal and lateral direction).
