Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure flow speed and flow rate by oppositely mounting two bodies fitted with shoes and ultrasonic oscillators so as to bring the respective shoes into contact with piping. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic flow meter which keeps the measurement fluid flowing through the piping 7 comprises the first and the second bodies mounted while holding the piping in between, the shoes 9 and 15 for propagating the ultrasonic waves mounted in the center of each body while being in contact with the piping, the ultrasonic oscilltors 10 and 16 mounted on the other ends of the shoes, the holding members for holding the ultrasonic oscillators 10 and 16, the covers for covering the holding members, the connectors for connecting with the ultrasonic oscillators electrically mounted on the first and the second bodies respectively, and the flow rate measuring circuit which is connected with the connectors for measuring the flow rate or flow velocity of the measurement liquid flowing through the piping.
