Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of connecting between a large beam and a small beam, which is applicable to the case where the large beam is set to a steel column and thereafter the small beam is hung from above a space between the large beams so as to intersect the same, to thereby arrange and position the small beam in a manner securing a predetermined gap between a front end of the small beam and a flange lateral edge of the large beam, the method contributing to smooth and easy connection between the large beam and the small beam, to stable exertion of the performance of a connection portion, and to reduction of material/machining costs and connection work costs, and to provide a connection structure between the large beam and the small beam. SOLUTION: According to the method, a small beam bearing portion that is protruded on the order of 1/4 to 2/5 a flange width of the large beam in an intersecting direction from the lateral edge of the large beam flange, and a large beam connection portion of each of a pair of L-shaped small beam bearing fittings that secure an insertion gap for a small beam web therebetween, are connected to a large beam web by high strength bolts beforehand. Then the small beam having a front end lower portion cut out is hung so as to intersect the large beam, and the small beam web is inserted into the insertion gap, followed by engagingly connect a lower surface of a small beam upper flange to the small beam bearing portion of the small beam bearing fitting.
