CERAMIC PACKAGE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, CERAMIC PACKAGE FOR TAKING MANY PIECES, AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic package excellent in a sealing nature of a cavity. SOLUTION: A nearly rectangular cavity 22 in plane view is formed in a ceramic package 10. On a sidewall 48 at the corner of the cavity 22, there is formed a castellation 41 structured such that a conductor 43 is formed on a surface of a concave groove 42. The concave groove 42 takes on a shape of a cross section along an arc 53. Out of four sides 51 defining outer lines of the cavity 22 at the plan view, extended lines of two adjacent sides 51 cross each other, the point of which is assumed to be a virtual intersection P1. A virtual center point P2 that is offset from the virtual intersection P1 in a center direction of the cavity 22 is assumed, and around its point a virtual circle 52 is assumed.
