Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device and its drive method that can improve the power supply efficiency during a period of supplying charges to the capacitances between the PDP electrodes from the power recovery circuit. SOLUTION: This device raises the discharge pulse in two steps by slowly raising the voltage until it reaches the discharge start voltage on the display panel, then quickly raises it when it is over the discharge start voltage, but slowly drops the voltage in one step when the pulse falls.
