HYDROGEN DETECTION ELEMENT CONTROL DEVICE AND HYDROGEN DETECTION ELEMENT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen detection element control device and a hydrogen detection element control method for determining abnormality of the hydrogen detection element inexpensively by a simple method. SOLUTION: The hydrogen detection element control device is equipped with: a hydrogen concentration calculation circuit 14 acquiring the first detection element of the hydrogen detection element 12, and calculating the hydrogen concentration by the first detection element; an element information calculation circuit 16 acquiring the second detection element which is different from the first detection element of the hydrogen detection element, and calculating element information (for example, an impedance) for determining an abnormality of the hydrogen detection element by the second detection element; and a control circuit 10 determining whether the hydrogen detection element is abnormal or not from the element information.
