Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the thickness of a hot glass body on the basis of chromatic aberration without direct contact with the glass body. SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: concentrating an optical beam from a light source onto the hot glass body immediately after produced using a convergence device to obtain a reflectance spectrum by introducing the reflected light from the glass body to a spectroscope; finding two wavelengths having the maximum reflectance intensities of the reflected light from respective front and back surfaces of the glass body; measuring the thickness of the glass body between the difference between the found wavelengths; maintaining the temperature of the convergence device during thickness measurement at ≤120°C; and substantially shielding thermal radiation to the convergence device using at least one thermal shielding filter.
