Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-destructive sugar content meter and a non-destructive sugar content measuring method, capable of restraining measurement errors due to temperature, and capable of accurately measuring the sugar content in the overall measured object. SOLUTION: In this meter/method, a light source 12 emits a near-infrared beam to the measured object 1 on a mounting block 11. A photoelectric conversion part 13 receives a light of a specified wavelength component in a transmitted light of the near infrared beam, so as to be converted into a voltage. A numeral value calculation part 14 has an amplifying part 22 and an analog/digital conversion part 23, and finds a value of a voltage converted by the photoelectric transfer part 13. A temperature-measuring part measures the temperature in the vicinity of the photoelectric conversion part 13. A correction part of a control computation part 15 corrects the value found by the numeral value calculation part 14, in response to the temperature measured by the temperature-measuring part, based on a preset correction condition. A computing part of the control computation part 15 finds absorbance, based on the value corrected by the correction part, and finds the sugar content of the measured object 1, based on the found absorbance.
