Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design an image forming apparatus in which any types of documents can be subjected to security setting easily. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises an input information storage means 107 storing operator authentication information and security information on a document, a communication means 103 asking the operator authentication information in the input information storage means 107 to an external authentication server 1802, a security setting control means 104 which controls security setting processing from the security information in the input information storage means 107 and a collation result from the authentication server 1802, a security image forming means 105 to form a security image by the instruction of the security setting control means 104, and a printer engine 106 which prints on the document the security image formed by the security image forming means 105.
