Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-extinguishing composition and a fire extinguishing method suitable for a brush fire. SOLUTION: The fire-extinguishing composition is for extinguishing an outdoor fire of an object for fire extinction. The fire-extinguishing composition comprises ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium secondary phosphate and ammonium sulfate as main components. The fire-extinguishing composition is diluted with water from 1 to 5 mass%, and extinguishes the fire of the object with the action of fire-extinguishing gas consisting of carbon dioxide and ammonium generated when spraying the composition to the object for fire extinction and water.
