Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an electromagnetic clutch capable of miniaturizing a device though transmission power is increased. SOLUTION: An exciting coil 5 is received by an input-side rotating member 7 rotatably supported by an output shaft 2, and the exciting coil is held in the axial direction of the output shaft by both end plate portions 7b of the input-side rotating member. Output-side members 8 supported on the output shaft through plate springs 9 are mounted at outer parts of both end plate portions, and the end plate portion and the output-side member are magnetically connected in an exciting state of the exciting coil. As the transmission of driving force between input and output in the electromagnetic clutch is performed at two places, and the double driving force can be achieved by simple calculation even when a transmitting capacity of driving force is small at one place, the increase in dimension of the electromagnetic clutch is unnecessary. As the compact electromagnetic clutch can be used so far as it has the same driving force transmitting capacity, when it is applied to the driving device of an opening/closing body for a vehicle using the electromagnetic clutch, this electromagnetic clutch can be suitably used for an automobile where the device must be received in a narrow space.
