STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display apparatus capable of expressing at least a part of a user interface as a stereoscopic image by converting at least partial data out of inputted data into stereoscopic image data to embody the user interface. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display apparatus comprises: a display part 100 including a plurality of pixels composed of left-eye pixels 150 and right-eye pixels 160 which are formed like a matrix shape and alternately arrayed in the row direction of the matrix; an area detection part 320 for detecting first data respectively corresponding to at least partial pixels of a plurality of pixels in data inputted from the external; a data conversion part 330 converting the first data into left-eye data corresponding to the left-eye pixels 150 and right-eye data corresponding to the right-eye pixels 160; a data composition part 340 for arraying the left-eye data and the right-eye data to compose stereoscopic image data; and a data driving part 400 for applying a data signal corresponding to the stereoscopic image data into a display part 100.
