COMMUNICATION TARGET BASE STATION SWITCHING METHOD IN MOBILE RADIO STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication target base station switching method in a mobile radio station which switches over communication target base stations as own craft moves during flying without enlarging the constitution of own craft communication system. SOLUTION: A craft station identifies an empty slot in a TDMA frame of a base station under communication, switches over receiving frequencies in the time period of the empty slot to receive signals from a base station having a neighboring communication service area different in frequency, monitors the signal level thereof, compares the signal level of the neighboring base station with that of the base station under communication, and switches over communication target base stations based on the comparison result.
