Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor having a high energy density (high capacity) employing aliphatic poly ketone fiber paper as an electrode separator and small in an internal resistance while being excellent in productivity; and a uniform and porous electrode separator for capacitor which is thin and tough while being excellent in thermal resistance, dimensional stability, electric insulating property, resistance to chemicals, and low water absorbing property. SOLUTION: The capacitor employs aliphatic poly ketone fiber paper comprising aliphatic poly ketone fiber including a repeated unit shown by a formula (1): -CH2-CH2-CO- as the electrode separator. Further, the electrode separator for capacitor is constituted of wet type fiber paper comprising the aliphatic poly ketone fiber including a repeated unit shown by the formula (1): -CH2-CH2-CO-.
