APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CABLE CONNECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carrying out the connection of cables and the insulation of the connected part of the cable in a small working space and a small number of man-hour. SOLUTION: The electric cable connection apparatuses 1, 12have a first press member 3, a stage member 2, and a second press member 4 having a press wall 5 for connecting the core 10 of a plurality of electric cables 9, by means of soldering or the like by surrounding the four sides of the cables. Further, the apparatuses have shutters 7, 8 for closing the openings 21a, 21b of a space 21, and a injection means 20 for injecting an insulation material 22 into the space 21. The first press member and the press wall move in the opposite direction, and the press wall with the second press member moves in the direction facing to the stage member 2, so that the space 21 surrounding the core 10 is possible to be extended or reduced. The stage member 2 and the first and second press members 3 and 4 have steps 13, 18, and 27 for accommodating the insulation-covered part 11 of the cable into the open side for inserting the cable.
